Awakening
Awakening is Palworld's 1.0 endgame power-up. Deep in the World Tree you'll find Radiant Gems — one for each element — which also drop from Pals of that element. Combine a stack of gems with World Tree Holy Water to craft an Awakening Crystal, then use it on a Pal of the matching element to permanently boost its stats and give it a golden glow (its level display turns gold too). Awakened bonuses show as exact values on the Pal's status screen.
1. Gather Radiant Gems
Mine them in the depths of the World Tree, or collect them from defeated Pals of the matching element.
2. Craft the Crystal
Combine the gems with World Tree Holy Water to forge an element Awakening Crystal.
3. Awaken a Pal
Use the crystal on a Pal of the matching element for a permanent stat boost — and a golden glow.
