How to Beat Every Tower Boss in Palworld
Tower bosses in Palworld are gated challenges that mark your progression through the story. Each one is fought at a named tower against a syndicate boss and their signature Pal. Knowing the Pal's element weakness and move set before you walk in makes the difference between a clean win and a death spiral.
Tower 1: Zoe & Grizzbolt — Rayne Syndicate Tower (Lv 15)
Grizzbolt is Electric type — weak to Ground. Ground-type moves deal super-effective damage and are your primary damage source here.
Bring a Digtoise, Dumud, or any Ground-type Pal with Ground moves. At level 15, Digtoise hits hard enough to end the fight quickly if you keep applying pressure.
Watch out for: Thunder Cage (wide AoE Electric shot), Gatling Gun rider attack (Zoe fires from Grizzbolt's back — strafe sideways). Stay mobile and don't stand still during Zoe's rider phase.
Grizzbolt can be caught after defeating it in the wild as an alpha boss — it's worth adding to your team for its Electricity 3 + Handiwork 2 base utility.
Tower 2: Lily & Lyleen — Free Pal Alliance Tower (Lv 30)
Lyleen is Grass type — weak to Fire. Bring your best Fire-type Pals and Fire-element moves. Faleris (if you have it) or a high-level Foxparks/Rooby line works early.
Lyleen's danger is its healing — it can recover HP mid-fight, undoing your damage. Apply Burn status (Fire moves apply Burn) to counter some of the healing and maintain a damage-over-time advantage.
Watch out for: Solar Blast (large slow projectile, high damage), Seed Machine Gun (rapid Grass projectiles tracking you). Dodge the Solar Blast by moving perpendicular to its path.
Tower 3: Axel & Orserk — Brothers of the Eternal Pyre Tower (Lv 40)
Orserk is Dragon/Electric type — weak to Ice (for Dragon) and Ground (for Electric). Ice is generally the better choice since Ice moves deal with the Dragon typing, and Dragon is Orserk's primary attack element.
Bring a Frostallion or Bastigor if available. Mid-game options: Penking (Ice moves) or Sweepa (Ice type, strong tank).
Watch out for: Dragon Burst (large Dragon AoE), Tri-Lightning (three electric projectiles spread wide). The Tri-Lightning is the most dangerous move — dodge by strafing immediately after Orserk charges.
Tower 4: Marcus & Faleris — PIDF Tower (Lv 45)
Faleris is Fire type — weak to Water. Bring Water-type Pals and moves. Jormuntide or Suzaku Aqua if you have them; Surfent or Azurobe work well mid-game.
Faleris is extremely fast in the air — it's one of the fastest flying mounts in the game (1400 speed). This translates to fast attack patterns in the boss fight. Be ready to react quickly.
Watch out for: Fire Lance (long-range Fire projectile, high damage), Hellflame (close-range burst). Keep distance when possible and use Water moves to interrupt its attack rhythm.
Tower 5: Victor & Shadowbeak — PAL Genetic Research Unit Tower (Lv 50)
Shadowbeak is Dark type — weak to Dragon. This is where Dragon-type Pals (Jetragon, Orserk, Jormuntide) pay off. Dragon moves deal super-effective damage.
Shadowbeak has very high combat stats (390 combat score) and is the hardest tower boss in the base game. Over-level to 55+ if you're struggling — the stat gap is significant.
Watch out for: Dark Laser (high-damage Dark beam, telegraphed by a charging animation), Shadow Burst (AoE that tracks position). The Dark Laser is the kill move — dodge sideways the moment you see the charge animation.
Tower 6: Saya & Selyne — Feybreak Tower (Lv 55)
Selyne is a late-game boss added in the Feybreak update. Check the boss detail page for the current weakness and recommended strategy — this fight has seen balance updates and the specifics may shift with patches.
