How Palworld breeding works

Put one male and one female Pal in a Breeding Farm with a Cake and they produce an egg. The species of the offspring is fixed by each Pal's hidden breeding power (CombiRank): the child's power is floor((parent 1 + parent 2 + 1) / 2), and the egg hatches into whichever Pal has the closest breeding power. A set of 139 special parent pairs override this to produce subspecies and legendaries, and two Pals of the same species always breed true.
