World-start locations
When you create a world you pick a starting location. Each has a different balance of nearby resources and Pals — the ratings below are the game's own abundance values (1–5).
| Location | Resources | Pals | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windswept Island - Hill of Beginnings | 5/5 | 5/5 | A small hill with a good view and plentiful resources. Recommended for new players. |
| Windswept Island- Flying Fish Coast | 3/5 | 4/5 | Sandy beach with lots of water Pals around. Not many trees, but many Pals call this place home. |
| Sea Breeze Archipelago - Reef | 4/5 | 3/5 | Coastline with reefs in every direction. Average number of resources and Pals. Though rocky, it's easy enough to secure a wide, open plot of land. |
| Sea Breeze Archipelago - Castaway Beach | 3/5 | 3/5 | A sunny island blessed with a pleasant sea breeze. Near a volcano with a warm, easy-to-live in climate. With good access to the surrounding islands, it's a great place for setting off on adventures. |
| Isle of Silence | 2/5 | 2/5 | An island devoid of any signs of human life. Its lack of greenery makes settling there far from ideal. |
| Isle of Murmurs | 2/5 | 2/5 | A restful island with peaks and valleys surrounded by sprawling forests. Because its resources and Pals are in limited supply, not many people set their roots here. |
| Eastern Wild Island | 2/5 | 2/5 | Wild island to the east. At the edge of the main island, none have considered developing it. Those not used to living in the wilds would find it hard to survive here. |
| Marsh Island | 4/5 | 3/5 | An island with sprawling wetlands. The ample moisture allows for berries to grow in abundance and wide variety of Pal inhabitants. |
