Palworld tier list — frequently asked questions

What is the best Pal in Palworld?

The S-tier Pals at the top of this list are the strongest all-round picks — they combine high combat stats with the most valuable work skills. The ranking is graded S to D from each Pal's in-game stats, so the top of the overall list is the most flexible, powerful choice for most players.

How is this Palworld tier list calculated?

Each Pal's placement comes from an overall utility score: its combat strength (HP, Attack and Defense) plus its total work suitability across every base task. Pals that are both strong fighters and productive workers score highest, so the ranking reflects exact in-game stats rather than opinion.

What are the best base Pals in Palworld?

For a base, use the Workers tier list, which ranks Pals purely by their work suitabilities — Kindling, Mining, Handiwork, Watering and the rest. The highest-scoring workers cover the most stations at the highest levels, so they keep production, cooking and crafting running with the fewest Pals.

Does this tier list cover mounts?

Yes. Alongside the overall ranking there are dedicated Flying Mount, Ground Mount and Combat tier lists, each graded S to D, so you can find the best Pal for a specific role instead of a single blended score.
