Where to find Grizzbolt
Wild Grizzbolt live on the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary, the island south of the Plateau of Beginnings. Sanctuaries are protected: setting foot there flags you for criminal activity and summons PIDF patrols, so it's a smash-and-grab catch that needs a flying or swimming mount to reach. The safer route is breeding — pairing Mossanda with Rayhound produces Grizzbolt.
It's an Electric type, so Ground attacks hit it hardest — bring a Ground Pal like Anubis or Digtoise. Lower its HP and apply a status effect before you throw, since high-level Grizzbolt have a low catch rate at full health.
Grizzbolt's best uses: Yellow Tank and power
Grizzbolt's Yellow Tank skill lets you ride it and rapidly fire a minigun once you craft Grizzbolt's Minigun (Technology level 40). Combined with its 120 attack, it's one of the strongest sustained-damage mounts in the game.
At the base it delivers Generating Electricity 5 — enough to run electric stations on its own — plus Handiwork 4, Lumbering 3 and Transporting 5, so it stays useful long after you've unlocked better fliers.
If you don't want the PIDF heat of a sanctuary raid, breed Mossanda × Rayhound at a Breeding Farm — it's the reliable way to get a Grizzbolt for its minigun and power output.
