Where to find Jetragon
Jetragon spawns as a lone alpha boss on Mount Obsidian, in the western volcanic region of the map — north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer fast-travel point. Only one exists in the world at a time; it reappears after a real-world respawn timer or a server restart if you miss it. The spawn map above pins its location.
It's a Dragon type, so Ice attacks are super-effective — bring your best Ice Pals (Frostallion, Sweepa or Ice-move users). The volcano floor also deals fire and heat damage, so pack Heat Resistant armour and healing before you engage.
Why Jetragon is the best mount: Aerial Missile
Jetragon's ride speed is the highest in the game by a wide margin, so it's the go-to flying mount for crossing the map. Its Aerial Missile partner skill lets you fire a rapid missile launcher while mounted — turning traversal and aerial combat into the same action.
At the base it brings Gathering 8, and it drops Soralite (used for the endgame Rocket Launcher and its ammo) plus Thermal Cores. If you can't beat the alpha yet, Jetragon is also breedable — check the breeding calculator for a working parent pair.
