Celaray guide
Celaray is a Water-type manta Pal you can catch in the first hour of Palworld — and it's worth grabbing early, because its partner skill upgrades your glider and cancels fall damage. It's one of the best quality-of-life catches in the starting region.
Where to find Celaray
Celaray glides over water in the wetlands and coastal areas, including the starting Plateau of Beginnings — a reliable spot is the beach southeast of the Small Settlement, just west of the plateau. It spawns at very low levels (around Lv 4), so it's an easy early catch. It also turns up in some dungeons and hatches from a Damp Egg.
It's a Water type, so Electric attacks deal super-effective damage, but at this level almost anything catches it.
Celaray's best uses: a better glider, no fall damage
Celaray's Zephyr Glider skill improves your equipped glider while it's in your party — it prevents fall damage and extends how long you can glide at high speed. That makes early exploration and cliff-heavy traversal far safer and faster, which is why many players keep a Celaray on the team long after they've outgrown its combat stats.
It's also a gliding mount you can ride directly. At base it offers light Watering 1 and Transporting 1, and it drops Aquatic Pal Fluids.
Keep Celaray in your party for exploration — the no-fall-damage effect alone saves you countless deaths off cliffs and towers.
Celaray — frequently asked questions
How do you get Celaray in Palworld?
Celaray spawns over water in the wetlands and coastal areas, including the starting Plateau of Beginnings — try the beach southeast of the Small Settlement. It appears at very low levels (around Lv 4), so it's an easy early catch, and it also hatches from a Damp Egg.
What is Celaray weak to?
Celaray is a Water-type Pal, so Electric attacks deal super-effective damage. Bring Electric-element Pals and moves — though at its low level almost anything works.
Is Celaray good in Palworld?
Yes for utility — its partner skill upgrades your glider, prevents fall damage and extends high-speed gliding, which is a huge early quality-of-life boost. It's a gliding mount too, so it's worth keeping in your party well past the early game.
