It's a Dragon/Fire dual-type: Ice attacks punish its Dragon half and Water attacks punish its Fire half, so bring Ice or Water damage. Save Legendary or higher spheres for the throw and lower its HP with a status effect applied.

Jormuntide Ignis has Kindling 7 — the highest Kindling value in the game — which makes it the go-to worker for furnaces, cooking cakes for your Breeding Farm, and refining ore and coal. A single one dramatically speeds up any base that relies on heat.
In combat its Stormbringer Lava Dragon skill lets you ride it and, while it's in your party, nullifies lava damage and increases you and your Pals' damage to Burning enemies by 50% (it does not stack) — a huge boost for a Burn-focused team.
