Where to find Frostallion
Frostallion spawns as a lone Lv 60 alpha east of the Land of Absolute Zero fast-travel point, in the harsh northern snow biome. It doesn't appear anywhere else on the map, so this remote summit is the only place to catch one.
The trek itself is a hazard — bring cold-resistant armour to survive the freezing temperatures. Frostallion is an Ice type and weak to Fire, so bring Fire Pals and Fire moves, then throw a Legendary Sphere once its HP is low.
Icy Steed: the premier Ice mount
Frostallion's Icy Steed partner skill lets you ride it as a flying mount, and while mounted it changes the player's attack type to Ice, inflicts Freeze 2, and increases Attack by 10% — a complete Ice-damage package for hunting Dragon Pals and fire-weak enemies.
At the base it brings Cooling 7, so it doubles as a strong refrigeration and cake-production worker. It's the single best way to add reliable Ice damage and freeze to your kit.
Frostallion's Ice mount buff pairs perfectly with a Jetragon hunt — Jetragon is a Dragon and weak to Ice, so ride Frostallion in and freeze it down.
