Wumpo guide
Wumpo is a giant Ice-type yeti — a rideable mount and one of the best logistics Pals in the game. It works four base jobs and passively boosts your whole base's hauling, so it's a high-value catch for any established base.
Where to find Wumpo
Wumpo lives in the far-north snow region, easiest to find along the western coast near the Pristine Snowfield. Wild ones range from about Lv 42 into the endgame, so bring cold-resistant gear and a strong team.
It's Ice type, so Fire attacks are super-effective — lead with a Fire Pal to melt through its 140 HP quickly, then lower its HP and throw.
Best use: the Transporting aura
Wumpo's Guardian of the Snowy Mountain partner skill raises the Transporting work suitability of every other base Pal by +1 while it's assigned to the base — one Wumpo upgrades your entire hauling workforce.
It also works Transporting 6, Lumbering 5, Cooling 5 and Handiwork 3 itself, and can be ridden as a ground mount, so it earns its slot several times over.
Assign one Wumpo to your main production base for the +1 Transporting aura, then let your other workers clear their hauling backlog faster.
Wumpo — frequently asked questions
How do you get Wumpo in Palworld?
Catch it in the far-north snow region, most easily near the Pristine Snowfield on the western coast, where wild ones range from about Lv 42 upward. It's Ice type, so weaken it with Fire attacks and pack cold-resistant gear.
What does Wumpo's partner skill do?
Guardian of the Snowy Mountain increases the Transporting work suitability of all other base Pals by +1 while Wumpo is assigned to that base. It's one of the best logistics buffs in the game and doesn't stack with a second Wumpo.
What is Wumpo weak to?
Wumpo is an Ice-type Pal, so Fire attacks deal super-effective damage. Bring Fire Pals and Fire-element moves.
