Base stats
It can easily climb steep mountains with its hard claws. However, its short legs make it difficult to descend, often leaving it stranded in high places.

Cryolinx guide
Cryolinx is an Ice-type tiger Pal built for one job above all: farming Dragon Pals. Its partner skill makes every Dragon you defeat drop far more loot, and it's a versatile four-station worker at base.
Where to find Cryolinx
Cryolinx spawns in the northwestern Land of Astral Mountains region — a reliable spot is around the Pristine Snow Field fast-travel point — and it appears both day and night. Bring cold-resistant armor for the climate.
It's an Ice type, so Fire attacks deal super-effective damage — soften it with a Fire Pal before you throw. Note that its Alpha, Cryolinx Terra, is a separate Ground variant found in the Feybreak region, not this base Ice tiger.
Cryolinx's best uses: Dragon farming + base work
Cryolinx's Dragon Hunter skill makes Dragon Pals drop 40% more items when defeated while it's in your party — run it when you're farming Dragon materials or hunting Dragon Alphas for a big loot bump.
At base it's a genuine generalist: Cooling 4 for the refrigerator and cake-making, plus Lumbering 4, Transporting 4 and Handiwork 3. Its 140 melee also makes it a strong Ice attacker, and it drops Ice Organs for cooling recipes and glassware.
Take Cryolinx along on Dragon-boss runs — the extra 40% drops add up fast on high-value Dragon Pals.
Cryolinx — frequently asked questions
How do you get Cryolinx in Palworld?
Cryolinx spawns in the Land of Astral Mountains in the northwest, reliably around the Pristine Snow Field fast-travel point, both day and night. Bring cold-resistant gear and weaken it with Fire attacks before throwing. Its Alpha, Cryolinx Terra, is a separate Ground variant in the Feybreak region.
What is Cryolinx weak to?
Cryolinx is an Ice-type Pal, so Fire attacks deal super-effective damage. Bring Fire-element Pals and moves.
Is Cryolinx good in Palworld?
Yes — its partner skill makes Dragon Pals drop 40% more loot, which is excellent for farming, and at base it covers Cooling 4, Lumbering 4, Transporting 4 and Handiwork 3. It's a strong utility Pal even though it isn't a mount.
