Once one with Paladius. Its darkened form is the embodiment of negative emotions. However, a glimmer of compassion can still be seen deep within its eyes.

Necromus guide
Necromus is a Dark-type Legendary Pal — half of the fearsome dark-and-light centaur duo it shares with Paladius, and one of the strongest combat mounts in Palworld. The two spawn together as a single brutal alpha encounter, so knowing how to split them is the key to catching either.
Where to find Necromus
Necromus spawns as an alpha boss in the northern Dessicated Desert, near the Deep Sand Dunes fast-travel point. It always appears alongside Paladius — attack one during the day and both will fight you at once, which is one of the toughest encounters in the game.
The trick: Necromus is nocturnal and stays awake at night, while Paladius sleeps then. Start the fight at night and you can take Necromus on solo. It's a Dark type, so bring Dragon attackers. Pack heat-resistant gear for the daytime desert and cold-resistant gear for the night.
Dark Knight of the Abyss
Necromus can be ridden and can double-jump while mounted, giving it exceptional mobility. Its Dark Knight of the Abyss partner skill activates a Twin Spears attack that summons a Paladius to strike alongside you — a powerful combo once you own both.
With 145 ranged attack it's one of the hardest-hitting mounts in the game, and it covers Lumbering 6 and Mining 6 at the base. If the twin fight is too much for now, Necromus is also breedable — check the breeding calculator for a parent pair.
Necromus and Paladius amplify each other's partner skills — catching both lets each summon the other in combat, so it's worth going back for the second one.
