The guaranteed Quivern is the field Alpha at the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant. Wild non-alpha Quivern are most reliable inside the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary in the northwest, and range from about Lv 40 into the endgame.
It's Dragon type, so Ice attacks are super-effective — bring an Ice Pal to knock it down fast, then lower its HP and throw.
Best uses: Dragon buffer and flying mount
Quivern's Sky Dragon Affection partner skill lets you ride it as a flying mount and increases the Attack of your Dragon Pals by 15% while it's in the party — a big damage boost for a Dragon-focused team.
At base it works Transporting 5, Mining 4, Gathering 3 and Handiwork 2, so it's a genuine all-rounder when it isn't flying you around.
