Anubis is a Ground-type Legendary Pal — one of the best all-round Pals in the game, prized as both a top-tier Handiwork base worker and a hard-hitting combat partner. There's only one Anubis in the world, so most players catch the alpha or breed their own.
Where to find Anubis
Anubis spawns as a single alpha boss in the Twilight Dunes desert, walking around a Statue of Power east of the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant. It only ever spawns as this one alpha, so if you defeat or miss it, you'll wait for the respawn timer.
It's a Ground type and weak to Grass — bring Grass Pals like Lyleen or Vaelet, which also resist most of Anubis's Ground moves. Keep your distance and dodge-roll the telegraphed red-marker attacks, then close for the capture once its HP is low.
Guardian of the Desert and base work
Anubis's Guardian of the Desert partner skill changes the player's attack type to Ground and raises Attack by 30% when active, and it occasionally evades attacks with a flash sidestep — a strong offensive buff for the mid-to-late game.
At the base it's exceptional: Handiwork 6, Mining 6 and Transporting 4 make it one of the best crafting workers in the game, dramatically speeding up assembly lines. You can also breed Anubis from as early as level 20 using Penking × Bushi.
Anubis's Handiwork 6 makes it the single best Pal to park at a workbench — its crafting speed is a noticeable upgrade over almost anything you'll have early.
