Tetroise guide
Tetroise is a Ground-type Pal added in Palworld 1.0 — a heavily-armoured turtle that's both a rideable mount and the best passive mining buff in the game. If you run a mining base, Tetroise is one of the highest-value catches in 1.0.
Where to find Tetroise
Tetroise is one of the more common 1.0 additions: it spawns widely across a Lv 48–80 range, so you can catch one well before the endgame and re-catch stronger ones later. It also appears as a Lv 55 alpha boss for a guaranteed encounter.
It's Ground type, so Grass attacks hit it hardest. Tetroise has 135 defense — the second-highest stat on its sheet — so expect a slow fight and bring status effects to keep the capture window open.
Why Tetroise is a top base Pal: Masonry Archelon
Tetroise's partner skill, Masonry Archelon, raises the Mining work suitability of every other base Pal by +1 while it's assigned to the base (it does not stack with a second Tetroise). One Tetroise effectively upgrades your entire mining workforce.
It also has Mining 4 itself and can be ridden, so it pulls double duty as a mount. Its high defense makes it a durable frontline tank if you bring it into combat.
Assign one Tetroise to a mining-heavy base for the +1 Mining aura, then use your other Pals' boosted values on ore and stone nodes.
Tetroise — frequently asked questions
How do you get Tetroise in Palworld?
Catch it in the wild — Tetroise spawns across a wide Lv 48–80 range, and also appears as a Lv 55 alpha boss for a guaranteed encounter. Its high defense makes for a slow fight, so use status effects before throwing your sphere.
What does Tetroise's partner skill do?
Masonry Archelon increases the Mining work suitability level of all other base Pals by +1 while Tetroise is assigned to that base. It's the strongest passive mining buff among the 1.0 Pals and doesn't stack with a second Tetroise.
What is Tetroise weak to?
Tetroise is a Ground-type Pal, so Grass attacks deal super-effective damage. Bring Grass Pals and Grass moves.
