Where to find Warsect
Warsect appears in the wild across a Lv 34–80 range, so you can catch a low-level one early and re-catch a stronger one later. For a guaranteed encounter, a fixed alpha Warsect spawns at the Sealed Realm of the Stalwart, near the Gobfin's Turf fast-travel point.
It's a Ground/Grass dual-type: Grass attacks punish its Ground half and Fire attacks punish its Grass half, so bring Fire or Grass damage. With 120 defense it soaks hits, so lower its HP and apply a status effect to hold the capture window open. If you'd rather breed it, Warsect is one of the more common breeding results — check the calculator for a pair you already own.
Warsect's best uses: Cast-Iron Shell and base work
Warsect's Cast-Iron Shell partner skill generates a barrier around you after you land 5 melee hits within 5 seconds (it does not stack) — a strong defensive option for aggressive melee builds. It's also a ground mount, so it doubles as transport between fights.
At the base it covers Lumbering 4, Transporting 5, Planting 3 and Handiwork 3 — a flexible all-rounder rather than a single-station specialist.
Warsect drops Ground Radiant Gems at 100% — bank them for Awakening a Ground-element Pal, where matching-element gems give the biggest permanent boost.
