Reptyro is a Fire/Ground volcanic monster — a rideable mining tank whose partner skill lightens all the ore in your inventory. If you haul a lot of ore, Reptyro pays for itself on every mining run.
Where to find Reptyro
Reptyro spawns in the volcanic Mount Obsidian region, mostly on its northern and eastern sides, with wild ones around Lv 36–50. It can also appear as a dungeon Alpha Pal. Bring heat-resistant gear.
It's a Fire/Ground dual type, so it takes extra damage from Water (its Fire half) and Grass (its Ground half). Lead with whichever you have and lower its HP before throwing.
Best uses: mining mount and ore hauler
Reptyro's Ore-Loving Beast partner skill lets you ride it and reduces the weight of all types of ore by 30% while it's in your party — so you can carry far more ore back from a mining trip before you're over-encumbered.
At base it works Mining 5 and Kindling 5, and with 120 defense it's a tanky mount, so it doubles as a mining worker and a durable ride through the volcano.
Bring Reptyro on long ore runs — the 30% ore-weight cut means fewer trips back to base to dump inventory.
