Ragnahawk is a Fire-type bird and one of the fastest flying mounts in the game. It turns your attacks to Fire while you ride it, so it's both a quick travel mount and a mobile weapon platform.
Where to find Ragnahawk
Ragnahawk spawns in the volcanic Mount Obsidian region in the southwest, with wild ones ranging from about Lv 32 into the endgame. Bring heat-resistant gear and a Water Pal.
It's Fire type, so Water attacks are super-effective. Knock its HP low, apply a status effect, then throw — the fight is straightforward once you shut down its Fire damage.
Best use: a fast Fire flying mount
Ragnahawk has one of the highest ride speeds among flyers, and its Flame Wing partner skill changes your attack type to Fire and raises your Attack by 5% while mounted — great for burning down Grass and Ice targets on the move.
It also works Kindling 4 and Transporting 5 at base, so it's not dead weight when it's off saddle duty.
Use Ragnahawk as your traversal flyer in the volcano and snow regions — the built-in Fire attack conversion melts Ice Pals you fly past.
